NEWSPAPER WEB OFFSET In newspaper printing both vegetable oil based inks and mineral oil based inks are used. On roller coverings these inks can sometimes cause either extractions or swelling, resulting in the need for a resetting of the rollers. In order to minimize the need for adjustments, our EUROLAB has developed – in close cooperation with leading ink manufacturers from Europe and North America – the product range EUROWEB-NC. The result of this cooperation is a newly designed formula that promotes further the dynamic efficiency of this New Concept roller covering.
		ILLUSTRATION WEB OFFSET High volume printing runs using various paper qualities are everyday business in illustration web offset printing. Limited downtime is given a high priority in most modern heatset printing plants. One decisive basis for achieving this goal is ink roller coverings from the EUROWEB-SHS product range. Those Super High Speed compounds, specially developed for high performance web offset printing, are able to fulfil the needs induced by high mechanical stresses over long print intervals because of their special composition.
MULTI FUNCTION ROLLERS The distribution of ink films over up to three nip points per roller puts those roller coverings under extreme mechanical stress. As a result, increased abrasion and sudden breakdowns are quite common. If adjusted correctly the multi function roller coverings from the product range EUROWEB-MF (Multi Function) do not only offer the best possible ink distribution and provide an extended service life, but also contribute to a reduction in fogging.
		INK ROLLER INNOVATIONS Further increases in printing speed lead to constantly growing dynamic stresses placed on rubber roller coverings. In order to meet these demands, two product ranges have been developed: EUROWEB-HTS (Heatset Top Speed) and EUROWEB-CTS (Coldset Top Speed). These future generation compounds for inking rollers are the result of our understanding of the need for INNOVATIVE ROLLER TECHNOLOGY.
HICKEY REMOVER ROLLER Through the grouping of special fibers on the surface of the roller, the dual function roller EUROWEB-HP (Hickey Picker) provides not only functional stability during ink transfer, but also allows for the removal of dirt particles during the printing process if used in the position of the first ink form roller.
		INK DISTRIBUTION ROLLER The high performance covering of the product range EUROSAN is the basis for the cover finishing for all distributor drums and distributor rollers. Aside from a hardness of 100 Shore A, the blemish free surface offers the best possible distribution of ink.
